Auto Insurance fraud?

Sorry for hopping on an old thread, but I figured I would search first. Can you please comment on my scenario?

Minor hail damage. Got an estimate from the insurance severe weather team (not a private repair company). It was below my $1000 deductible, so I'd just be responsible for paying for repair myself anyway - no sense in filing a claim.

I didn't get it fixed. It's hardly noticeable and I can live with it. What happens if I get hailed again? I don't have any proof of repair (since it isn't repaired), and since they KNOW about it due to the estimate, will they pay out on a second hail storm?

What's the best way to get paid out on a new hail claim? Do I need to get it repaired? It's been over a year, I believe.
