[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby!

Over half of my fish have died this week due to an outbreak of Ich in my tank. Catching all of the fish to transport to a hospital tank would have been impossible and I couldn't dose the display tank with copper because that would have killed off all of my coral. After getting tons of contradictory advice on reddit, my LFS and other hobbyist it feels like nothing helped and I'm just watching my fish slowly die.

Once the rest of my fish die what is the best option forward? Do I just keep coral and other inverts for 76 days while the ich naturally dies off and then slowly add more fish again and just be super cautious? I love my tank and I feel horrible about the fish but I feel helpless. Please give me some advice so that my tank doesn't end up on craigslist...
