Taliban has no problem claiming attacks but everyone here knows when they don't it's usually the government doing false flags. Right now their motivation is to increase the violence to pressure the us government to keep their troops and delay the peace deal. Remember the Taliban aren't stupid, they will attack when the troops are withdrawn but remain low-key for now. The only people the current attacks benefit are the Afghan government. Oh and btw majority of the country wants strict Sharia law. Not everyone in the world has your viewpoint.
