Avengers: Endgame Review Megathread

It's beautiful I'm crying. The way they retired several characters are fitting and sometimes heartwarming/wrenching. And the assembling of the characters at act three, omg. Probably the most memorable act three in movie history for me, 10/10 definitely will watch again.

Though as a movie-only guy, I would like it if someone can undo my doubts and confusion on the real function behind the Infinity Stones combined with gauntlet, which in this movie, seems to work more like a wish maker or something like that rather than the 50%-life-wiper I have always believed. Plus the somewhat inconsistency of Thanos destroying the Infinity Stones with the Infinity Stones themselves, and yet managed to open a portal to escape after the snap on IW.
