Average energy bill forecast to hit £4,347 after Truss U-turn on support

Que another energy policy further down the line to drum up some desperately needed tory support, it’l likely be used as a trump card at some point and it’l be targeted support rather than blanket support for some.

Its also strange some of the reporting through this energy crisis..

Reports like ‘Utility CEO’s meet goverment to bring down costs for customers’, edf ceo’s and others supposedly dont like the high bills therefore met with goverment to work along side them.

Now if all these so called CEO’s who are ovbiously in the same boat as some working classes cared so much or had genuine concerns on their record profits at the expense of hard pushed working classes surely things like STANDING CHARGES for payg meters would of dissapeared ( edf one of the worst ) or what about VAT, they also produced 34,230 GW’s of zero carbon energy thats a 34.3% of total energy produced thats zero carbon energy. They dont give shit and never did…. they care about investors and maximum profits which equals higher dividends ( note the no change to taxes for dividends yesterday ) the emphasis is on PROFITS, its on big buisness its on corporate profits and maximum dividends for investors this has been a common theme all through covid and current crisis.

These fucks dont care
