to know the average price of a home in Canada.

Grew up in northeastern BC (yeah, that area) and we experienced both -40c as well as +40c, albeit they aren’t necessarily the norm and mostly just happen two or three times per season for no more than a week or so. The snow persists for a good while though.

We’d handle the hot temps by crowding the few non-disgusting lakes nearby, scouting the shorelines for vacant spots that weren’t covered in dog shit.

Thankfully moved down to the island a couple months ago where the weather is usually just mild, only to be greeted with the worst snowfall since ‘96 lmao it’s apparent that the locals don’t know much about dealing with that either, which is totally understandable.
