Avoid the McDonald's at King and Columbia

I have to agree with what others have already said. There was an issue, management was clearly wrong. Owner did right by you and the trainer.

But you posted to Reddit to boycott the location before you contacted the owner or corporate.

You also contacted the media before you contacted the owner or corporate.

The management could have handled the situation better but so could you. Maybe next time give the establishment a chance to do something before you start lighting fires. Seems like the owner is a good person and more than happy to help and remedy the issue so jumping the gun on calling for a boycott and reaching out to media is a little quick.
