Avoiding Uneven Trades

Agreed. I think the "don't veto unless it's collusion, even if it's clearly unbalanced" sentiment is dumb if there are tacos in the league. If there aren't, by all means, unless someone is trading Alvin Kamara and Antonio Brown for Calvin Ridley, let everything else slide through.

I think people underestimate the amount of people here who have noobs in their leagues. It happens a lot with work leagues or people who desperately need one more player to make the league number even, so they get any of their other friends with only a rudimentary understanding of football to join.

An example: A year ago I played in a league where an "expert" tried to trade Trevor Siemian to a noob for Antonio Brown two weeks into the season. Siemian (22pts, 27pts) was outperforming AB (29, 11), but obviously trading AB or Siemian would be seen as absolutely outrageous to anyone who has fantasy football experience. So it was vetoed by the commish, as it should have been imo.
