Interesting, yes, good start. I would modify to say: * All people are non-monogamous. Men and women that choose to be in monogamous relationships believe (so very often falsely) that it is in their self-interest. * Men's mating strategy is hardly a strategy at all. Men like to have sex, that’s it, for two reasons. First, it feels good. Second, it provides validation of our manliness (or lack thereof). Yes we value better looking women more, because the better the catch, the more validation we receive (see male emotions below). One day we may wake up and oops knock up a woman, sometimes choose (which may be another level of validation of manliness), are pressured to or tricked into having kids. Women are actually way more strategic then men. * Men are emotional as fuck, which is the primary reason for all the whining about women on this sub. We’re so mad when we can’t get laid or laid often enough or laid by hot chicks, need to philosophize about it to the Nth degree to try and figure out why. Men are great at organizing our emotions into neat little boxes, hiding our irrationality (often based on unrequited primal urges) behind seemingly rational argument. * Agreed that men by and large prefer women who are in their prime as sexual partners, but not so sure that’s about fertility. Women well into their 30s are very fertile, and would make great provider/mommas, much better than a 22 year old would… but eh at they start to get visually rough around the edges. As a woman wrinkles, it’s just not that sexy anymore. Like a dented up sports car. Still may race around the track like a champ, but resale not so good. Less desirable for more than just what’s under the hood. Again, an older woman provides less validation for our male egos (again, irrational/emotional). * Disagreed that all men have a strong drive to be competitive with other men. Some men are competitive, most are not. Most men are lazy, want to just get-by. They don't aspire to anything but paying their bills, mere survival, chasing ass and getting laid (see above about validation). * Both men and women are born and made. Stepford wives are made lol.
