Ayushman Bharat scheme kicks off today, to benefit 50 crore

Is this scheme dependent on Government health infrastructure or can the services of private health providers also be availed? If it's just the Government then I am not that optimistic.

Bhai we don't have to! we are not even the in target group.

As far as government not being able to deliver rhetoric. Government of Rajasthan already a pretty impressive scheme in place before Ayushman Bharat came into play. They give free checkup and medicine to poor at PHC, if you have something serious you will referred to govt hospital for treatment/surgery and if due to some reason the patient doesn't get operation slot at that facility. Government is willing to even foot the bill of private facility treatment.

No scheme is perfect from start, or to say it wouldn't face zero hiccups in its life cycle. Rajasthan's bhamashah health care is far from perfect and the no of patients they cover is 25 times less then what Ayushman Bharat is planning to cater. But that shouldn't stop us from trying. For people who have nothing and are being forced to pay huge medical bills out of pocket this scheme can be a way out of poverty.
