Aziz Ansari accused of Inappropriate Conduct

I get where you are coming from. When I was dating it was understood that some guys would push for sex. This was not held against him.

Some guys used a softer approach of one time try and if she backs off, end game. Others used the multiple attempt play to initiate sex before final back down.

In fact, my mom always had me take money with me to call if a date went "bad". Bad being this guy keeps trying when I say no and I'm not putting up with so out I go. At no time did I consider this rape.

It was viewed as "hey bud it's not going to work on me", no harm no foul for trying but you have the wrong girl. Never would I have considered his actions rape. Pushy, yes. Rape, no.

I was taught that if the women wanted to make sure her no was understood, she pushed off at the kissing stage and kept the boundary firm for the rest of the night. For her to cave in and let him have oral would have been viewed as consent to move towards sex.

This guy kept on not to hurt her but to arouse her because she gave him very mixed signals. The let's take a break was her cue to leave. But she didn't and left him with the impression that his foreplay attempts would be accepted and lead to sex.

Most of my friends in my age group would not consider this comedian's multiple tries as rape. Unfortunately younger women do and this guy is getting ready to be fucked over for nothing.
