This, I work from 8:00am until at least 5:00pm. Throw coaching on top of that with Volleyball and Soccer season from September -November and Basketball season from November- March then Badminton, Ultimate, Ball hockey in the spring there are teachers putting in serious time from September - June. It’s not uncommon I’m at work for 12 - 13 hours some days, doing that a few days a week all school year is absolutely exhausting.

As well as all of that coaching is unpaid and actually usually ends up costing money from having to drive everywhere, not complaining since I love sports, but all that for around $55,000 a year doesn’t feel fair. I don’t get any pay checks in the summer so I have a second job just to have some income.
