One thing that will certainly hold you back is sales. You won't be able to sell while you are busy developing the product. Even after the MVP is in place you are going to see yourself busy with maintenance tasks, security and performance enhancements.

So you are going to need someone to be like you, but for sales. Someone who eats, drinks and breaths sales. Someone who can't stop thinking about his or her bonus and the thing to be bought with it.

It's going to be weird that this person won't care much about the small tech details of your product. He or she will only focus on value proposition, sales pitches, handling objections, fighting the competition etc. You should support that behavior the same way he or she would support your data backup routines.

Ask your investor to find that person to you. It's critical to any startup.
