I want to go back to the best time of my life.

I understand, I just turned nineteen and I’m abt to start the equivalent of American college. I went to orientation and I was still surprised over how sheltered I was growing up. I live an hour away from the largest city in my country, predominantly white, middle class, Christian suburbia. It’s almost a completely different world, it’s diverse and full of culture/languages and acceptance. It sucks to feel isolated, distant and regretful over decisions you made in the past or for being in a position you can’t control. I would suggest transferring college and working toward pushing yourself away from people that don’t look outside of their own small world, it’s best to be around individuals that question and assist in developing your perspective further
