Why any reasonable person is not hightailing it out of Florida is a mystery.

I don't think you've thought through how many ways that just isn't possible. For example, how does your advice help young people who can't "hightail it out" as you would suggest they do? Or, how does your advice help young people who have already been kicked out of their home?

1.6 million youth are homeless each year and up to 40 percent of them identify as LGBT. Because LGBT youth represent only 7 percent of the total youth population, there is a staggering disproportion of homelessness among these populations.
