Back by popular demand... Scott Steiner: UNSCRIPTED & UNCENSORED!!!!! whether he was discussing his prowess in giving women orgasms, insulting fat people, or threatening to kill you, nobody did it better than Big Poppa Pump!

PWTorch Newsletter - June 24, 2000 Last week, Shikira (one of Scott Steiner's Freaks) was fired by Russo after she told him she didn't want to take bumps without being paid more money. Her stance is that she wasn't hired to take bumps and shouldn't be asked to go to the Power Plant to learn unless she is properly compensated. Insiders say there is a strong chance she will be brought back. Apparently, Russo didn't talk to anyone before firing Shikira. Meanwhile, Scott Steiner is pushing Bischoff to bring her back, partly because he is friends with her, and partly because he thinks his gimmick calls for having two women with him. Those who know say Steiner definitely has Bischoff's ear and will probably get his way.

PWTorch Newsletter - July 8, 2000 Scott Steiner blew up at Terry Taylor backstage before his match on Thunder last week. The blow-up included threats of physical violence. Taylor told Steiner he would sue him if he continued his assault, and Steiner called him a "pussy" for threatening to run to a lawyer. Taylor said he shouldn't have to work under such conditions and walked away. Taylor told friends he was hesitant to get on the WCW charter flight back to Atlanta that night because Steiner was scheduled to also be on the plane. Steiner has had several run-ins with management in the past, including once before with Taylor. Steiner was suspended from this week's TV for his actions. The incident stemmed from Steiner being upset that Taylor booked him to lose to Mike Awesome in the main event. When the timing of his intro music didn't go as planned, Steiner lividly complained about the lack of professionalism. Steiner also was upset at Taylor previously because Taylor fired Kim Canter, one of Steiner's "Freaks" (valets), by leaving a message on her answering machine rather than talking to her in person. (She was apparently fired because she refused to learn to take bumps). Steiner felt he should have had a say in and at least been given more time to prepare to replace her since he likes to have one on each arm to project his image on TV of being a big-time player.

PWTorch Newsletter - July 22, 2000 Scott Steiner was married on Friday, but postponed his honeymoon until Wednesday so he could participate on Nitro this week. It was his way of making up some of the deficit he is in from his blow-ups with Terry Taylor.

Many wrestlers are asking why Scott Steiner was only suspended for a week following his blow-up with Terry Taylor. The wrestlers believe Steiner was paid his regular salary, and are also upset that his suspension coincided with the July 4 holiday. Many wrestlers felt Steiner was basically rewarded for his poor conduct.

Scott Steiner, from a moral standpoint, probably doesn't deserve a job in WCW, much less a push. His "might makes right" conduct backstage in making possibly criminal threats against management is unbecoming of respect. That said, in his defense, he is being riled up by other wrestlers who like playing with his head. His supposed friends work him up, then walked away and laugh from a distance at the result of the buttons they pushed. Backstage conduct and excuses aside, Steiner is extremely entertaining and believable. He has a disposition that rivals anyone in the sport today. If it weren't for his entertaining, ticking-time-bomb persona, he probably would be out of work right now.

PWTorch Newsletter - August 5, 2000 Sources say at the weekend house shows, Scott Steiner mocked his recent one week suspension by telling friends if they want a week off, they should pick on Terry Taylor like he did.
