Back when the GearVR originally released it had a pretty underwhelming amount of content, has that changed now?

Yeah but it is still crap. Childish in fact. The games are garbage. The media stuff is lifting. It feels like the good stuff is about to lift off, but if you take a look at the Oculus Connect 2 app available on google store, you will see all the new stuff being released this week and all the new games available for demo at the event with information on each one, yet there is no demos available for stuff like you would think is coming, such as maybe a film in the dreamworks cinema, or the lost imax cinema. This conference has everything wrapped up on this little app, and it has 26 titles that people can demo at the conference, but not a single one of them is anything that is game changing or intersting in my opinion. I was thinking they would at least allow us to now download or stream pay per view movies, but nope. Not happening. I'd walk away from VR and come back this time next year and there should be enough good quality content to not find yourself sitting their waiting for interesting stuff to only be let down every step of the way. Check out the app in the app store and see all the stuff that those at the conference today can demo and book sessions of. I am super stoked that I decided not to fly out from Yonkers today for this conference. I would of been so bummed. Next year it will all be good, so we hope. It is on the other hand worth $200. My Mortgage is $800 a week so $200 for a device where you can stream your own PC games and Movies and Netflix to a massive personal cinema. That to me is worth $200 all day. The unit is worth $200 for sure, but the content they sell on the Oculus menu such as the games, they are not worth the $2 to $10 they are askng for. One guy charges $10 for a beach that you sit on and can not move around on. Outrageous to those who tried it out to realise they could not refund it once they saw how bad they were ripped off. It is gut wrenching now knowing that oculus will sell utter garbage on their store for their customers to buy. Oculus use to be a company you could trust but for those of you who will moan at me for ragging on them, power to you and facebook. People seem to forget that Facebook owns this stuff and far too quickly jump to the defence of everyone who works for oculus
