Background context: I started cleaning carpets in July. The trucks over heated and many issues. I was working 60hrs a week. I was one of the only workers so I was basically bringing in half the revenue I collected over 1000 dollars daily for the jobs.

How is it possible to draw any conclusion from the lack of detail provided by OP? It sounds like the business owner did OP a personal favor and OP still decided to give the business owner the shaft. OP was working a lot because they were one of the few employees but how much were they paid? Why is that an issue if OP was getting fairly compensated? Did OP ever request fewer hours or that suggest that the company needed to hire more people?

I'm not saying OP should lick company boots but how can anybody draw any conclusion about the situation from the information provided unless they're predisposed to say all business owners bad regardless of circumstance, which will ultimately push this subreddit's legitimacy further down the pooper?
