No, it's wacky as fuck. Unless my memory is just completely faulty from only 7 years ago. I've played DS 1, 2, 3, and BB...and some of the backstabs I've been hit with in the last week have been complete horseshit. I slide down a long ladder in Duke's Archive to get away from an invader, and he is a second or two behind me on this ladder going down. I get off the ladder and start running, but as soon as he disconnects from the ladder he somehow yanks me back 5 feet and gets the backstab. I saw the space between us just instantly close. I did my fair share of PvP in 1 and 2, but I was a totally die hard for 3 and BB PvP. Never seen such a bullshit backstab like the other day in Duke's. I can't remember the details, but I know there has been at least 2-3 other backstabs this week that shouldn't have been possible. I don't always get backstabbed, but when I do, I like to make sure it's because I fucked up and not the game. Stay thirsty, my friends.
