Is it bad that B’s are literally the best I can do?

What matters is that you pass. My friend used to say "C's get degrees!" in your case it would be "B's get degrees!"

Don't stress over getting A's. I'll tell you a secret... I went to nursing school with VERY competitive people who got A's on everything. I ran into some of them after graduation and they have jobs now. They told me "It was actually pointless to strive that hard for A's. MDs will still chew you out and other RNs don't care what distinctions you graduated with."

Some people say it makes you stand out when applying for jobs. I don't really believe that. I didn't graduate with any distinctions and I got offered an ICU job. Unfortunately I didn't pass the NCLEX in time so I lost the job. But while in nursing school I always had the belief that ICU positions were reserved for the cum laude students. I was wrong.
