Bad GM, Good Players, Average Game

It’s not worse, but it’s exhausting. I did this with a group I had where our DM ghosted without a word, and though it’s great because I get to see the players play more — it’s not the same as playing. I had a character I absolutely loved, and finally had a table I could play her at. And now, all that is gone. And I have to plan sessions and make plot and improv and talk the most instead of being able to sit back and let someone else take the reins.

Forever DMing is a really exhausting position to be in, and taking on ANOTHER game is more exhausting, especially when you feel like you FINALLY got a break. Suggesting this just isn’t really helpful to someone looking to just play a character.
