Is it a bad idea to fraternize with coworkers?

If you think about all the places to meet people, you are more likely to find a partner in places where you already spend time around each other... work, school, church, etc. Don't rule out dating a coworker unless there is a specific policy against it. And even then, if you find your soul mate happens to be a coworker, would you give up a lifetime of potential happiness for a job that will likely only last a few years? Nowadays, job loyalty is at an all time low anyway. Very few people spend their entire life at one company, so why would you put your happiness on hold just because you met at work? If it does not work out, just learn to work together like mature adults, or go find another job. No big deal.
