I’ve tried two different roofers. One died the day before he was finally coming out (a family friend we’d waited over a month to talk to) and the other was basically a salesman. He looked at the roof, said it was the asphalt leaking in around the gutter, but didn’t even get up there. We’ve had absolutely terrible luck with a lot of stuff this year and the roof is...just a small part of it and we can’t seem to catch a break here either. I have several thousand (we’ve been saving for this roof for a year now, but had a different emergency that took priority and most of our money) to repair the roof, I just don’t have near the $16,000 it’s going to cost to replace everything (we need wood and everything).
