Bad Ska Music?

I took your reply as rude and trying to start shit.

If you re read my post you'll see I never said shanty town was buster's, just that it's a well known track.

You then try to berate me in a " pb of all people way" even though you admit that likely no artist has 100% hits. The question wasnt about bad artists, it was about bad songs.

In no offense to the OP, I assume (based on what I've seen over the years in this sub) that they're younger and not as versed in ska as you. So my approach to the question was to mention bands that the OP would likely know.

I'll step away from ska for a sec to make my point because you seemed personally offended by me mentioning those bands; I asked my friend if he knows any bad 2pac songs. He said no. Are there some not so great ones? Yes, like most artists of any genre, but if you're not a collector you won't know them. That's my point, we dont hear the bad ones unless we look for them. I didnt see the question as a "I like ghost town, I want to listen to more like that" but more of a convo starter.

I looked at your independent post and could agree with a lot of that but your reply to me just rubbed me the wrong way.

Personally, I'm not really even a fan of 3rd wave outside of Latin influenced groups because it comes of as dorky to me. I just used rbf because that's what this sub seems to be familiar with.

I wish there were more convos on this sub instead of just songs ...and based on all your posts on this thread, I'm guessing you do too. That's why your post pissed me off. Seemed like you were trying 5o jump on me for answering the question.
