My biology teacher was so horrible. She was bad as a teacher and bad as a person.
I hated biology since grade 6, never wanted anything to do with.

One day I was bored and just scrolled through youtube and I found the CrashCourse channel. Just randomly started watching biology.. Well yea, now I am a bio major.. I'm learning the subject I always hated.
Same thing goes for History for example.. The teacher was bad, so everyone in class hated it. Now, I gave it another shot and read some recommended books and watches some videos on youtube. I can't stop reading about the Roman Empire now.

I was never interested in geography tho. but the teacher explained everything so fucking well, that I had no problem passing my exams without even learning at home.

Bad teachers that can't teach, or/and mean will never teach you anything, not even the things you like.

Similar things happened with people who say "they hate reading books". No, they don't. They just learned to hate reading, because we were basically forced to read heavy and dry literature that's in the curriculum.
