When Demonmamma started calling calling Destiny "dude" once, he said don't call me that, because he was in a trans soace and he's nb (but sais he/him is fine) and DM appologized. It was obviously a very insincere appology only made to not come off as transphobic.

DM clearly didn't actually believe or give a fuck about destiny's gender identity, but appologized to not loose cred in the social context, so there is at least one person who the criticism of virtue-signaling or "only pretending" for the sake of social inclusion, applies to. It's not Destiny though, his being NB was long established before the word was even a thing, he was just like "yeah that describes me" when it became more well known and didn't make a fuss about it. That's how it should be and what true acceptance looks like. It has nothing to do with "what positions you take", of "what you look like", just to what degree gendernormative roles describe you accurately.
