About 10 years ago my old band wanted to do a reunion show. We were a well established local band back in the day that was a side project for a famous drummer that played with a MAJOR rock figure. My ex threw a shit fit for weeks before she okayed it. The condition was that we set up a weekly rehearsal time that didn't impact our relationship time together. So our drummer a guy that routinely plays in front of stadium crowds with an actual music icon (one of the absolute giants) had to get up at 8am Sunday morning for 3 weeks to rehearse so that my Starbucks barista girlfriend wouldn't be inconvenienced. She was still pissy about the whole thing and almost boycotted the gig. Then she showed up at the last minute so that she could yell at me for 4 hours straight. Fucking miserable twat.
