Bald or balding men of reddit, do you have any experience with finasteride or rogaine? For those who didn't treat their balding, do you now wish you had?

I just followed the 90/10 rule and figured out the minimum amount of effort for the max results. Rogaine is gross and I didn't want to do that.

1mg Finasteride once a day; organic Ketoconazole shampoo; Biotin and Shark Cartilage (lol yeah seriously) tablets x2 day. Also just eat a really health well balanced diet and exercise 5-6x a week, including a lot of yoga and weights.

Oh and most importantly: get a good haircut. Don't do some weird come-over, and don't get the same haircut you always have been. Find a [gay] guy who knows how to cut your hair so what you have will look good on you.

I regrew a ton of hair and don't look bald anymore. Your results may vary. My hair loss is definitely genetic (mom's dad etc) but, I also suspect my hair loss was accelerated by stress at the time, which I've since dealt with.

Anyway yeah, do research and experiment, find out what is acceptable for you. Honestly, the best thing you can do is accept it. I still don't have as much hair as I did when I was 18, but I'm happy with how I look. I was stressed the fuck out about it but then I got in control
