Baldesion Arsenal is great, but also not great. What's wrong with the freshest and most unique content we've gotten in years?

My gut feeling was that BA probably works extremely well on Japanese servers. They seem more adept at handling random groups and communicating and learning without strict organization and voice chat.

NA/EU just doesn't seem cut out for it. We're not eager to try and our initial reaction is to resist and find any way around it. We're too focused on treating it like any other content that we won't experiment with it or be able to find satisfaction in a run that doesn't attempt to go to the very end every time.

We act like there's some kind of loot lockout and that Ozma needs to be cleared this week or we'll fall behind on some kind of upgrade pattern. We saw top NA groups manage to organize and so we're obsessed with replicating that exact same experience to the letter.

I'm actually going to go against the grain on this one. I think BA was a cool idea that NA/EU never even really gave a chance. I think there's tons of variety in logograms and ways that a rag tag group of a decent size could have fun and fare pretty decently in there if they weren't obsessed with being ultra serious and clearing every single time. Unfortunately it just fell upon a rabid audience who would rather rage than adapt. I realize that's a very polarizing outlook to have but I honestly think the community is just too stubborn and gave up way too quickly.

For me, BA is the culmination of everything weird about Eureka finally making sense. It fosters a sense of massively multiplayer and community content that is mostly missing in modern MMO's. I would have liked to have seen it succeed and become more of a thing I would look forward to participating now and in the future. It's a decent mix of casual and challenging content that doesn't mostly play itself like your average roulette. But I realize that's not what people want anymore so I'll just accept that it has been spun into a failure.
