Gotta love the wide world of tennis reporting. The title definitely makes it sound like he's "on the side" of the ballkids, but his insight seems to consist mostly of a rambling, stream-of-consciouness evasion where he refuses to criticise anyone. Classic Federer.
3/4 of the article is just straight quotes. There are some gems there though:
“I remember a few years back, I think we were told not to blow your nose into the towel. I know it sounds horrible, but sometimes in the heat of the moment, what can you do? I’m sorry, I have to go blow my nose and I’ll be back in a minute? It just doesn’t work sometimes, you know.”
“So I don’t do it ever anymore, you know. Not that I did it a lot beforehand. But it’s like, well, the show gotta keep moving on.”
Poor boogers. I'm shocked these guys aren't snot-rocketing all over the place now.
