Oh geez, that would really suck if these guys decided to start hanging around Berkeley protesting all the time.

Maybe I should try to talk them out of it. I feel like I understand their ideology well enough to meet them on their level but also I can hopefully talk them out of it? Like, Kyle Chapman recently posted this thing to his Facebook about a guy who shot up a church and called it a "hate crime against whites", but there is nothing in the article that indicates that the church even had a disproportionate number of white people in it, or that the shooter was motivated by racial hatred. I feel like if I just calmly pointed that out without calling him a racist or anything he might chill out a little bit.

On the other hand, if someone saw me talking to him then they might think I agreed with his ideology, and who knows what shit would happen to me at that point. sigh
