Scholars have been trying to root out the problem of racism for over 100 years (maybe more) and I think you might be right-- it's just in our blood and for some people our logical minds have learned to overcome it and those thoughts just disappear.

You tell yourself over and over that you shouldn't be afraid of the dark and sooner or later you probably won't be... but it takes work... I think it might be the same thing.

But look-- I want the ENTIRE WORLD for you. I want the fucking world to crack open and give you riches. There's enough for everyone. I want you to get yours. That's my wish for you... and if there's anything I can ever do to help you crack the world open, you just let me know.

HERE there's no white or black, just us. In the smallest of settings, we can make a better world. I believe it. Then we just have to generate light and let people see it.

I use my privilege where I can to speak for the voiceless, but it's really the only thing that I have... but my voice is really loud.
