A bank horror story

Another year passed, pandemic situation is getting manageable. But I got promoted to OIC section chief, I am busier than ever and gets to be deployed at our sites. I am in the ops and planning unit btw.

In July of 2022 I had a mild stroke. This is due to overfatigue and stress. I experience stress hyperglycemia leading to hypertension.

In August 2022, EWB autovollections, started calling again with the same horrifying accusations of unpdaid balance due to BYAO. At this point, get really frustrated. My only defense is this "regardless of new and additional BYAO that you have applied to my account w/o my consent, I continued paying my monthly obligation to you. I never miss it. Check my account and you will see." the autocollector will apologize and drop the call. The next week, a different caller will claim the same issue. I will again explain. This time I was deployed at our site w/c is out of the city, and if I had to access the atm or bank I'd have to drive 45 minutes and risking leaving my post at work. There were times that their calls happend when I am in a middle of crisis management situation at the site, I will respectfully ask them to callback but they will get irritated and say that I needed to hear them out because I have unpaid balance. I will, of course, explain my side, my current location, my important meeting and that I will always answer their calls because I never want to miss my payments. But most of the time, the conversations were in vain.

By this time I lost count of how many calls I recieved. But let us say when I had 8 calls in september, at least three of them will extend an effort to review my account and then apologize. One of them, in fact, said "upon review maam, twice po pala kayo nagpay on these months...etc.. Etc. Okay na po mam. Updated po pala payment nyo."

In October 2022, I had to resign from work. My blood pressure became unstable and I was already giving symptoms of terrible anxiety. My doctor provided me with antidepressants. BUT- EWB autocollectors became harder to deal wit. This time, a certain representative of Telan Law services started to call me. Threatening to take legal actions if I dont pay my balance for the BYAO. Despite my health condition and knowing that answering their calls will just result to a repeatitive misunderstandings and one sided arguments, I kept answering their calls. And you know what's worst?
