No. They wanted her to retire in 2013 when the Dems had control of the Senate. She was 80 years old and had two cancer scares. They likely would have filled that seat rather quickly had she had the sense to listen and they even had Ketanji Brown-Jackson basically lined up. This was before Scalia died and Garland was even considered. Yes Hillary still would have lost, and there would be two seats to the conservatives, but it would still be only 5-4 instead of 6-3 and we wouldn't even be having this conversation.

Instead, she rebuffed them. Saying things like "who would you rather have on the court besides me?" In a rather arrogant display of "YASS GORL!" Relishing her supposed greatness and repeatedly sniffing her own farts. Completely oblivious to the seriousness of the situation.

I wrote a very lengthy comment lambasting her and have used this one to put arguably unnecessary sentences together insulting and also lambasting her, but I just cannot believe how stupid and arrogant she was. So many innocent people who never harmed anyone will suffer unnecessarily because of one person's arrogance and it all could have been prevented so easily.

She was a dumbass. If she even cared at all.
