Man, you asked why this was a thing, and I tried to explain. I'm not going to argue that Trump is literally Hitler. What I should have lead with is it's being a populist and a good speaker, plus the normal tendency to compare people to Hitler, and then someone dug up the books thing, and then there's the survivors saying stuff. Yeah, he probably has the damn books. I don't really give a fuck. Hell, I perused Mein Kampf a few times. It's important to read and discuss the crazy manifestoes that history's monsters leave behind. If he learned something well good for him. Whatever. He's a goddamn American, he can read what he pleases.

Personally, I don't like the man, I don't like his policies, I don't like his business practices, I don't like his egotistical demeanor, and I've found his supporters to be abrasive and combative (though fairly, I find I have the last problem with Jesus nearly as often). Is he literally Hitler? No, same way that Obama wasn't the fucking Kenyan Muslim Antichrist and also secretly Osama bin Laden. But why would I need him to be Hitler when he's already Donald fucking Trump?
