I wouldn't be opposed to an indefinite moratorium on jokes or complaints about past payments to players on /r/CFB. I went to the National Championship game when Auburn beat Oregon, and it was a great game. I never cared that Cam Newton may or may not have been paid $200k to play for Auburn. He was an amazing player, and $200k wasn't remotely enough money for all the flak he got.

As time goes on these days, I'll look forward to seeing less references to "U$C", and just "USC" on Oregon message boards. Though, I do fully expect the Fuskies will forever and always complain on their sites that the Ducks are "buying" recruits when they inevitably pick Oregon over UW. My advice? Try buying some recruits.
