Yeah, no. There's a big difference here. The 'self-hating' black is just acknowledging their community has a lot of problems they need to address. Ultimately they want to fix and improve their community. The self-hating white fights to further screw over and dissolve their own communities, to be martyrs for le oppressed minorities.

If a black person took the view black people are bad therefore we should give up on them and ignore their problems because it's all their own fault, that does tread into just being pathetic. I respect blacks that stand up for themselves and their people, and not under the false guise of equality. Muhammad Ali perfectly exemplified this.

It's not like nationalists think their people are perfect and can't be improved. It's about the underlying intent.
