Based Canada?

Here's the full submission, the edits are hilarious: " Is anyone else getting kind of annoyed with the “If Trump wins I’m moving to Canada!” takes?

I get it. Trump is the worst. But we aren’t some place you can just come to because your president sucks and you have shitty healthcare coverage. I’d prefer it if we accepted actual refugees fleeing from devastating wars, not Americans coming because....Trump might get reelected?

Idk. It used to not bother me but now it kind of irks me. Is it wrong to feel this way? I don’t feel particularly proud of this sentiment but just felt I had to share.

I should probably just stop caring lol

Edit: Guys stop fucking saying Build The Wall, Jesus Christ.

Edit2: I know this post might seem like an endorsement of anti-immigration sentiments, but it absolutely is not. Sure, I can be as annoyed as I want at some memes on Reddit (it's admittedly a bad take, one born from frustration), but when it comes down to it, I as a Canadian would be more than grateful to have Americans immigrate to our country. What's happening in the States is incredibly unfortunate, and the livelihoods of groups of minorities are genuinely at risk. We should always be accepting of anyone, regardless of race, creed or colour, who wants to come to Canada. Cheers folks."
