this reply is what needs to be highlighted. ubisoft are repeating the same mistakes they made with finka and lion. bringing out an operator with a gadget that takes no skill.

im aware finka and lion had an additional problem in that their gadgets were global but Kali's gadget benefits her team too. all she has to do is walk up to a wall, presses gadget button and mute/bandit/kaid is taken care of. her gadget takes no skill or risk to use. and this is the problem. at least with maverick you take the risk of getting shot. thatcher has no risk but he needs to time his gadget well with thermite/hibana so it takes skill.

as for Wamai i was really underwhelmed. he's not a similar operator to jager at all. he just changes the direction of a projectile. you'll find more times that the intended defender for a grenade/flash will be fine but it'll hit a defender standing close to the gadget. it's going to be a real problem because it's one of those things people are going to forget they're standing beside
