'Basically Trying to Overturn the Senate Election': McConnell Delaying Democratic Takeover in Effort to Preserve Filibuster "McConnell is already abusing the filibuster to block the constitution of the new majority. Nuking the filibuster is the appropriate response."

If the democrats wanted to get rid of the filibuster then why have they been using it for the last 4 years? If the republicans eliminated the filibuster so they could push through the Trump agenda then the democrats would have cried foul and said they are abusing their power.

If the do get rid of it the time will come when they will regret it. The same thing with the idea of Biden stacking the court. If he can stack the court then why wasn't Trump able to stack to the court? Democrats should learn from their regret over not being able to filibuster supreme court nominees. They were the first to eliminate the filibuster on federal judges, the republicans just took it 1 step further and why wouldn't they?
