Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - Official Spoiler Discussion Thread #4

From a two hour drive just to see it in IMAX. I was blown away by this movie, the pacing and editing issues WERE present but I didn't feel personally, that it effected it as much as some people and critics say. Beginning was a tad too slow but I was still hooked.

The overall tone was exactly where I wanted it to be, some dark stuff in this movie on Batman's behalf but goddamn is Ben Affleck the best Batman I've ever seen. I mean, completely sold me on his portrayal I had butterflies and almost tears of joy when he graced the screen.Hands down favorite part about this movie. He's big, he's brooding, he's down right fucking brutal! (If it wasn't obvious Batman is my all time favorite character)

I liked Jesse but at times was not completely sold, but he was soild.

Wonder woman's appearance was fan fan-fucking-tastic. Damn, I love her in this movie. I smiled so damn hard. Will say that I'm glad she didn't have as much screen time as others wanted her to have because a little focus would have been lost, if not for the already apparent editing and pacing problems which again, didn't bother me that much.

Jeremy Irons was great I loved his character as Alfred. I do wish though he would have had more dialogue with Bruce/Batman.

The action sequences really and I mean really sold me on this movie. Without going into detail it was some of the best fights in comic book movie history. (Still looking at you too Cap 2: WS)

I am so fucking pumped for Justice League I love the way they handled the set up in this movie. Hell, I'm just ready for the next slate of movies. Batman movie has got to happen soon and I want Ben Affleck for DC like RDJ is for Marvel. Yes, I do love both Marvel and DC but DC is all I care about at this point, I'm that much a fan.

Anyway, those are my thoughts please let me know you guys think. Did you like it, did you hate, or did you LOVE it?

Final score: 9/10
