The Battle for Lion Arch Meta feels like it just cuts off and the final fight feels less of a spectacle.

It was always a disjointed mess, and it was never about reworking it, it was always about getting it back on the game.

What would be the point of re-releasing a disjointed mess after a decade if they don't take the chance to rework it for a coherent, polished story experience from Core GW2 to the expansions

That's literally how they're presenting the game to new players today; and 'better than nothing' would be arguable even, in the end it might put more people off from continuing the story than the skip from Core to Season 2 before

You don't squeeze all recorded scenes into a movie just so they're somehow in there, the final edit has to be coherent, and clearly push the plot forward so people would keep watching - so why would I want to continue the story of GW2 after playing through a disjointed mess? In the end a high quality in-game cutscene with a clear direction might have been a better choice for S1 after all
