Battle of Sodden Hill?

A lot of stuff didn’t made sense in there...like why would you stay in there and fight a battle you know you’ll lose

In fairness, the defenders weren't even half ready for a battle. The Nilfgaardians arrived two days earlier than they thought they would, far before Foltest and the others arrived. I suppose they hoped they could delay the Nilfgaardians until the northern armies got there.

they could have retreated and meet the main Northern Army

That would be the smart thing to do, wouldn't it? Ah well.

Anyway Netflix always sucked at battles

Yup. What the fuck was that battle in Episode 1? The Cintran cavalry in front of infantry instead of on the wings? Nilfgaardian tactics basically being zerg rush until numbers do your job. Ugh.

and I am afraid Battle of the Bridge, or Battle of Brenna is going to be shit

Let's hope they can get it right this time. Sounds weird, but I was hoping to see how Fringilla supposedly blinded Yennefer in that battle too. I have faith; apart from a few quibbles, the series was actually pretty good.
