There are always freaks of nature that do well going outside the meta. It happens in every single game. Have you ever played anything at even a semi-competitive level? I'm assuming the reason people saying controller is better bothers you so much is because you're an incredibly mediocre controller player that wants to believe he isn't doing poorly even with an advantage.
