Baylor’s pre med program

the most important aspects of med school apps is gpa & mcat. find a school where you can get a good gpa, have time to study for the mcat, get volunteer experience at a nearby hospital, shadow hours, and research. go to the cheapest school where you can get a good gpa. if money isn’t an issue then a school where you can get the highest gpa that is still relatively reputable. it doesn’t matter as much where you go but the gpa you come out with and your mcat score as those are weighted the most heavily in med school admissions. make sure that the school also has access to places where you can shadow and volunteer and has research opportunities for undergrads.
