The replay on millsap’s fifth, AD’s heel definitely landed on millsap’s ankle which cause it to turn unnaturally. Was it intentional or even SLIGHTLY malicious by Murray? Absolutely not imo. Could AD have simply landed his foot somewhere else? Maybe, but you can tell he’s not looking at his feet but instead at the ball. You’re not in the air very long and you come down and expect the floor to be there, not someone’s foot. It’s like walking down the steps at night and losing track and expecting a step where there is none. By the time he realized, his ankles already twisted.

I agree it was an untimely and unfortunate call - despite it hurting AD (he’s doing fine tho) I would’ve been ok if that was a no call. But he landed on millsap’s foot, and the replay shows that specific contact. And I’m guessing “landing space” or whatever it is is what they’re going on here.
