BC Hydro Site C Civil Eng Co-op

I've never co-oped with BC Hydro but I did work for them and met a few co-op and interns and preppy university students. Its a promising company, depending on what you do you might get tossed around a bit as the old timers see a young university kid who haven't "proven themselves" in the real world. You will meet some guys who have been working in the trades for years. They treat people well there though, as long as you arent that smartass university kid who thinks they know everything about the world/industry. I graduated in 2018 and working for them was a blast. I quit because I wanted to take a different career path but I wouldn't mind having a career with BC Hydro. Remember, you are doing co-op, you are there to learn and potentially land a job after graduation, not there to make money during your co-op term and leave. It might be a hard co-op term but if they like you, and you want a career with them, its the most promising company in BC I would say with crazy good benefits. Heck, their power line technicians are racking in 150k a year.
