BCH vs BTC

I started with BTC in late 2015 - I learned Bitcoin through using BTC. I bought a Trezor HW shortly after that and got the "Mastering Bitcoin" book and read the parts that I could. I got hooked on Bitcoin because of BTC.

Now why would I give up on my favorite coin and start supporting Bitcoin Cash? Did I go through a mid-life crisis? Why did BCH fork? Just for fun?

Of course there are things BTC cannot do that BCH can. That is why BCH even exists.

BTC cannot process transactions with low fees. To be fair, BCH wont be able to process transactions with low fees either when its blocks get full. But BCH is not there yet. BTC is there, and its refusal to scale on chain means it has given up the ability to process transactions cheaply.

Now this may be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your philosophy, but it is a fact that BCH can process 8MB blocks with $0.01 fee per txn - and BTC cannot.
