BCT V2 in 3 days

There were a couple of prior service Army in my basic training.

One soldier in my company just did a 4 year stint in 2009 and re enlisted in 2021. He said it was pretty much the same thing but he said the field training exercises were a little different.

One soldier in my company also joined in 2009. He failed hit AIT and got reclassed to another mos and got chaptered out of OSUT. He said that it way more intense back in 2009. He was at Fort Jackson for basic and went back to Fort Jackson.

There was one soldier who did basic training one or two years ago but got chaptered in AIT. He had to come back and re do basic training and he was in my company. He said it was it was more intense even two years ago. He went from Fort Sill to Fort Jackson.

Honestly from my understanding, the biggest impact or influence on how your basic training experience will be will be how your basic training company runs things.

There were a couple prior service Navy guys. The Navy guys said navy boot camp had lots of clothes folding.

My friend told me there was a prior service Marine in his company. The Marine was an older man who had to do Army basic cause of break in service. He said that there was more organized PT and more running than what he remembered doing.
