Dylan, like Beethoven and Bob Marley before him has touched the entire world and left an indelible, permanent mark on civilization. There are feats of art that are so monumental that they don't just stand the test of time, they change the course of it, and every bit as much as the most influential scientists and engineers and architects and whatever.

Whether you're capable recognizing Dylan's worth is of absolutely no concern to me, just as the pitiful derisions of embittered boomers and smarty pants teenagers with no life experience are not. Dylan doesn't need your personal recognition because reality remains reality anyway: Dylan is and icon, and the teenager who just learned how to swear and made this meme is not.
